The Marsala sabayon is the classic version of this cream even though in the Piedmontese cuisine is often also used the Moscato wine sabayon.
The sabayon can be used to fill cakes, to accompany biscuits as ladyfingers or torcetti butter or our hazelnut cake without flour.
But you can taste the Marsala sabayon also stand alone as a delicious dessert. The Marsala sabayon is creamy, dense and with a well-balanced flavor, the color is brown.
